Signature Capture

The Signature screen appears after tip selection in Pre-Tip flows, and as part of the combined tip-and-sign screen in Post-Tip flows.

Signature Screen

  • Header: Displays "GM3 - Sign"
  • Instruction: "PLEASE SIGN BELOW"
  • Signature Pad: A white rectangular area where the customer draws their signature using touch input
  • CLEAR (blue button) — Clears the signature pad to start over
  • OK (green button) — Submits the signature and proceeds

Using the Signature Screen

  1. Hand the device to the customer.
  2. The customer draws their signature on the white pad area using their finger or a stylus.
  3. If the signature needs to be redone, tap CLEAR to erase it and start over.
  4. Tap OK to confirm the signature.

After tapping OK, the Thank You screen appears, followed by the Payment Approved screen.
