What Do Employees Need to Know

Employees need to know the difference between manually and automatically accepting orders. 

Manually accepting orders: require employees to accept an order on their Otter tablet and then must hit the confirmation button that will appear on their POS to fully accept an order. 

Automatically accepting orders: will accept all orders and enter them into the POS automatically.  

When a store becomes flooded with orders, employees can pause orders from their Otter tablet which allows them to choose which delivery platform they would like to pause or all of them.  

  • Employees must know they can pause orders from certain delivery platforms or all of them when a store becomes too busy with orders directly from their tablet.  
  • Employees must know how to properly cancel orders for canceling orders through Otter does not automatically cancel orders on POS.  
  • Orders must be manually canceled or voided through the POS system.
