How to Disable 2-Factor-Authentication (2FA) for UberEats?

Otter has required all stores looking to integrate with UberEats to disable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA).

Please follow these steps to disable 2FA for your stores:

Option 1: Phone Request

Call: 1(833)275-3287

  • You will need your store name, store address, and the email used to create your Uber Eats account
  • After you call this number, they will send a code to the email you used to create your Uber eats account.
  • You will need to provide that code to UberEats over the phone to disable 2FA.
  • Once Otter has received your code over the phone and confirmed your request to disable UberEats, you can chat with Otter’s customer support team to get UberEats connected.
  • Please request support directly from your store’s Otter tablet or use this link to request support

Option 2: Email Request

Email: restaurants@uber.com

  • You will need to write an email including your store name, store address, and it must be from the owners email or the email used to create the store’s UberEats account.
  • Email message:
  • “Hello, I am (store owner name) from (restaurant name) and I want to disable 2FA for this store.
  • UberEats will respond with an email asking to confirm your request.
  • You simply have to reply “Yes” and wait for a confirmation email.
  • At this point, you can request support from Otter directly from your store’s tablet and let them know that you want to connect UberEats for your store or you can use this link.
  • You will need to provide them UberEats credentials and 2FA must be disabled or Otter will not be able to connect your store.

Confirmation from UberEats can take up to 24-48 hours
